About Us

CT Raiders is a new Travel Softball Program based in Lower Fairfield County looking to provide players in the towns of Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Ridgefield, Stamford, Wilton, and the surrounding areas an opportunity to join a highly competitive club team that will practice and train locally year-round. All of our indoor and outdoor facilities are based in the towns of New Canaan, Stamford, Norwalk and Darien, including Fall field space and all of our indoor workout spaces. CT Raiders is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)(3) designation, meaning this club will be run for the sole benefit of the players and their families! All of the fees for CT Raiders will go towards Coaching, Instruction, Field Space, Facilities, and Tournaments.

Travel softball, like other youth sports, can present families with a heavy travel burden, particularly during the heart of the Fall and Spring/Summer seasons when players must travel (often overnight) for the most competitive tournaments. As such, we believe that the best travel softball players from the area should not have to drive 1 to 2 hours away for practice. We started CT Raiders based on the belief that keeping our area's best players practicing and training locally will relieve the burdens placed on families, while at the same time providing an extremely competitive playing experience for girls who want to compete at a high level both regionally and nationally.

CT Raiders will be staffed by some of the most successful, professional area coaches. And our program will be run as a singular unit, with all teams and coaches working together and sharing resources for the benefit of all players. CT Raiders will have several offerings at different age group levels, providing a path for girls who join our club to continue to play competitive travel softball through High School. We will also offer the ability for girls to be dual-rostered on multiple teams, allowing players to play-up or play-down as needed.
